CherubsPreSchool is sited in the CranhamBaptistChurch which is immediately adjacent to EngaynePrimary School. CherubsPreSchool is one of four preschools in Havering owned by the company since 2001.
The PreSchool has the use of 2 large, bright and airy rooms and an outdoor area. The PreSchool makes regular trips into EngaynePrimary School to use their reception area playground.
Cherubs also offers regular extra curricula activities such as bend & stretch class, music sessions, dance class and librarian and other community visitors.
The PreSchool has a team of dedicated staff members who have been chosen for their knowledge, expertise and empathy with children. There is a dedicated SenCo for children attending with additional needs.

Marlborough Pre-School

Marlborough Pre-school has been established for over 25 years and is based in Cranham Community Centre which is a 5 minute stroll from Engayne School. We have two bright, spacious rooms and a wonderful outdoor playground which is used all year round for free flow. We provide care and early years education for all children, Monday to Friday mornings from 9.00am to 12.00pm and Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 12.30pm to 3.00pm. Our setting provides a safe, caring and fun environment with a dedicated team of fully qualified, experienced and friendly staff. Marlborough Pre-school especially welcomes children with additional needs and/or medical needs and have experience liaising with external agencies to provide the best possible care and development. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, we provide opportunities for all children to learn, succeed and feel valued in a fun atmosphere. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to work in partnership with us throughout their child’s time at pre-school.

For many years there has been a playgroup at Moor Lane Church – now known as Moor Lane Church Pre-School. It is run by a team of qualified staff, who are committed Christians and members of Moor Lane Church or the parish church of St Luke’s Cranham. The Pre-School is overseen by the Early Years Department of the London Borough of Havering, is regularly inspected by OFSTED, and is a member of the Pre School Learning Alliance.
Pre-School is for any children aged 2 ½ until they start at school, and we welcome children from all backgrounds and cultures. We recognise the wide range of individual needs of children and their families, and will endeavour to meet those needs wherever possible.
Our aim is to provide a balanced programme of activities for pre-school children in a loving Christian atmosphere, where they will receive the stimulation and social interaction they need prior to starting school. We encourage children’s all round development using a wide variety of play equipment and materials, promoting all areas of the early learning goals, enabling children to learn through their play.
